How can they take it if you are paying your monthly payments? I don’t get it.
Get a lawyer. He or she will give you guidance and tell you what you need to do. Do it first thing in the morning. If you don’t already have a lawyer and aren’t sure what kind to get, call around and they will tell you if they are able to help you or not. They will most likely give you the name or names of lawyers that deal with these types of things. Good luck and keep fighting!

First I would ask the mortgage company to send you a detailed statement for the last 12 months. If you have been paying your mortgage in full, then you should have nothing to worry about. If they are still giving you a hard time, I would contact legal Aid, or a lawyer to help you. gl!

There is more to your story than your post states. Mortgage companies do not just “take” homes away from paying customers.

Hire a real estate lawyer. Have him contact the mortgage company and ask for a itemized receipt of your billing for the entire time you have held the mortgage with the company. Good luck.

Something isn’t adding up here. Mortgage lenders do NOT ‘take homes’ when you are current and have made all payments according to the contract. If fact, they CANNOT ‘take your home’ in this situation.
Perhaps, if you give us the REST of the story, someone will be able to assist.
