Hi, looking for a 3 year fixed rate mortgage – just don’t know where to start looking – there are SO MANY out there!!!

The best thing to do is find a mortgage advisor. Though watch out as soom will charge you if you take a mortgage with through them. You should search on the internet for free mortgage advisor, that’s how we found ours.
A combination of the first two answers. An independent adviser should be able to advise you whether you will actually qualify for the rate as he/she will have access to sophisticated sourcing software. It is impossible to tell from the comparison sites.

There are a number of comparison websites available and you can look at the financial press but the best way is to visit a broker who can recommend the best deal for your circumstances which may not necessarily be the lowest rate (or even a 3 year fixed!)
